Lakeside Sauna Huvitus offers a unique blend of meeting space and authentic Finnish sauna atmosphere.
The venue, suitable for 8–12 people, beautifully combines history and modernity. The day’s agenda is carried out in a relaxed yet productive atmosphere in the sauna lounge, and the meeting is perfectly capped off with a traditional wood-heated sauna session and a refreshing dip by the lake.

The table comfortably seats 10 people, and the space can be rented either together with the sauna or as a meeting room only.

A projector and screen are available, as well as catering services. Please note that there is no Wi-Fi connection in the facility.

Enjoy the sauna heat and the peaceful lake

The sauna benches comfortably accommodate 8 people, and the entire sauna can be rented for groups of up to 12.
At the heart of Huvitus is a stylish AITO stove, which heats slowly but provides exceptionally soft and enjoyable steam.
The long pier invites you to take a refreshing swim in Lake Kytäjärvi – a sauna experience you won’t forget.
An outdoor terrace offers the possibility for grilling.

Pricing

Day rental: €620

The rental price includes towels for 10 people, basic cleaning of the sauna facilities, disposable seat covers, shampoo and body wash, and VAT.

Tip: Huvitus and its yard area are ideal for corporate well-being days or active events.

Huvitus – authentic atmosphere since 1933

Built in 1933 and designed by architect Väinö Vähäkallio, the lakeside sauna Huvitus has been carefully restored with respect for its original character and reopened in summer 2020.
From the sauna lounge, you can enjoy a calming lake view, and inside you will find stunning details such as:

  • An angel painting by Kaapo Virtanen decorating the sauna lounge ceiling
  • A mermaid relief by Gunnar Finne shining above the brick fireplace
  • The name Huvitus traces back to the family estate of the architect’s wife, Astrid
